Salisbury Consignors:
How to Register:
- Go to terikidzconsign.com and click consign + and choose which sale location you wish to consign at.
- Click to register as a consignor, follow prompts, and pay the consignor registration fee.
- My Sale Manager “MSM” is the consignment system you will use to tag your items.
- After registering in MSM, hit the “Menu” button and go to “Select a Drop-off Appt.” Choose your drop-off day/time and register for an appointment ONLY if you are NOT a TKS Helper.
- IMPORTANT- If you sign up for a Helperz shift, do NOT sign up for a drop-off appointment; bring your items to your helper shift. Reserve your time now, slots fill up very quickly!
- There is a 50 item minimum, you must have at least 50 items to consign
- Want to be part of the reason we are the best kidz consignment sale in the area?! Think about helping! Helperz earn up to 75% of their sales! These slots also fill up quickly!
Supplies Needed:
- #65 white cardstock if you are printing tags yourself (*required if you are printing your tags yourself)
- Safety pins, (not the tiny gold ones, and not the huge diaper like pins) tagging gun (recommended; please use 2 barbs on each tag) rubber bands, packing tape, Saran Wrap, various sizes zip ties and Ziploc baggies, batteries for the items that require them.
- Hangers (Ask neighbors, co-workers, friends, and family to save hangers for you. We have a graphic on our TKS FB Chit Chat group you can share on social media to help you out and advertise the sale! This brings in more shoppers too! Win-Win!)
Prep Your Items:
Please note the following differences in sale locations:
Mooresville & Salisbury are now BOTH season specific. Only Spring|Summer items will be accepted during the Spring|Summer sale, and only Fall|Winter items will be accepted during the Fall|Winter sale.
Maternity will be accepted at both locations.
Women’s Boutique is ONLY accepted in Salisbury.
Thick plastic & tube hangers will NOT be accepted at the Fall Sale in Mooresville only. For all other sales, they are allowed. If clothing is brought on thick plastic & tube hangers during the Mooresville Fall Sale, the items will be put out as restock.
- Thoroughly clean all items, including toys and baby equipment to improve the value of your items and in turn, make more $. Magic Erasers and baby wipes are helpful.
- Check for recalls @ https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls. Items that have been recalled are not allowed.
- Group like items together (and by size) to make entering your items e.a.s.y. and quick.
- Clothing sizes accepted: Infant to size 18 kids
- All clothing must be on hangers. Including onesies, sleepers with feet, pajamas, sleep sacks, etc. It's better to use a larger hanger than a smaller hanger to secure your clothing item. Hangers must point to the left/look like a question mark when you are looking at the item. Zip tie bottoms to hangers if possible.
- Remember, we take pride in the quality of items we accept. Everything that comes through our doors is inspected. Stained clothes, missing pieces, unintentionally ripped, too worn/too dated will not be accepted.
- ONLY bring your BEST! Make your clothes look and smell their best! Clothes that are free of wrinkles and smells will stand out in the crowd. Presentation is ½ of it! Clothing with a strong odor will be returned to the consignor.
- If you have clothing sets with more than 1 hanger, secure them together with a rubber band around the necks of the hangers to make sure they stay together.
- 300 Total Hanging Pieces (New This Season - Excludes Mega Consignors):
- 50 infant clothing hanging limit 0-12mos (does not include swaddle wraps, coats, or seasonal specialty rack items (Halloween, Christmas, etc.)
- 250 other hanging clothing limit
- Mega Consignors are returning consignors who earned $500 or more at the previous consignment sale (the amount earned and paid, not sold) and are not limited to 300 hanging items.
You may put multiples of the same size items on 1 hanger and/or make outfits on one hanger. These limitations EXCLUDE boutique, holiday clothing, Easter, Swimwear, or Halloween costumes. We receive a large amount of Infant to 18 months size clothing, please price it to sell and allow discount for this reason. Trust us!!
- Improve the value of toys and baby gear - Include assembly instructions, owner manuals, or even the instructions on how to make a stroller fold. Attaching what the item retails for new is also helpful to shoppers to see the savings. If the item requires batteries, it must have working batteries in it!
- Organize your toys by the main categories outlined below: Categories: infant, outdoor, boy toys, toys, girl toys, infant toys, electronics/video games/DVD’s, crafts, puzzles/games, decor items, holiday items, and shoes (shoes go to a separate inspection). This will make things smooth at drop-off.
- Please visit the website or private Facebook group (posted under Files) for the NOT Accepted items list.
- The best advice we can give you is don’t overwhelm yourself if you’re a new consignor. If you have never purged your baby clothing, start with your bigger sizes, and work your way down to your smaller sizes. If you sell your infant to 18-month size clothing, we suggest starting with tagging name brand only.
- Shoes- no adult shoes.
- GREAT condition, clean and no scuff marks or worn toes and heels.
- Seasonal appropriate shoes for each sale
- No shoes in boxes or bags. Infant shoes/Booties can go in baggies to keep secure. Tag on the outside of the baggie and tape over top.
- Shoes must be secured together with zip ties.
- Have your shoes in a separate bag or the bin you are leaving, (If you are picking up your unsold items) this way you can drop and go. When dropping off, bring your shoes to the shoe inspection table first, then go back and get your other items.
We reject items for the following reasons:
Too worn
Off season
Stained
Holes/rips/tears (that do not appear to be part of original design)
Broken
Missing pieces
Not a kid appropriate item
TAG GUN/SAFETY PIN with tag MUST GO IN A SEAM, not in the fabric of the garment! It created holes in the item and may be rejected!
Expiration dates of car seats
***Do NOT pair good items with “bad” items that fit the rejection reasons above because the whole set will be rejected!!! Just sell the good one(s) alone! Do not attempt to “HIDE” unacceptable items.
We reserve the right to reject items at our discretion.

Tagging, Pricing, & Printing:
- Go to the website for the link to the MSM consignor login portal (Mooresville OR Salisbury)
- Go to Menu and select Work with Consigned Inventory
- Click Add Items and choose your entry mode *For Voice Item Entry mode, be sure to read the information under the Instructions dropdown tab to learn about this feature as it differs from the instructions below.
- Choose a category (mobile version must click Add Items first)
- Select size (If you have your items organized by size before you start, you will save time by not having to change this each time you enter an item.)
- Type/dictate a short, but SPECIFIC description (at minimum, include brand and color). This is extremely important if your tag gets separated from your item; we are now able to search for your item based on what you input in the description. Whenever you look at the item, input how you would describe it. This is what we do if a tag is missing from an item. Catchy phrases and unique details are helpful! *If we cannot search and find your item to replace the tag, it cannot be sold.
- Enter a price ($2.00 minimum and $0.50 increments)
- Select quantity; if you have multiple items that are exactly the same, you may choose/enter the number of tags you need in this step.
- Select “Item can be DISCOUNTED” if you would like your items to be marked down to 50% off on discount days. (Highly recommended)
- Select “Item can be DONATED” if you would like your unsold items to be donated after the sale. Items marked donate will automatically be marked down to 75% off after the 50% off discount day.
- Click Submit
- If you need to edit one item, click the edit box next to that specific item, make your changes, and click submit.
- You can edit any item(s) on this screen- you can select or de-select donate/discount options on multiple tags at one time. You can also remove items on this screen.
- When you have entered all your items and are done editing- it is time to print your tags!
- Have your 65# (or heavier) WHITE cardstock ready. Select Print Tags Tab. Click Tag Printing Options and select the option you need. You can Print Selected Tags, Print All Tags, Print all Un-Printed Tags, etc. Follow the printer prompts from there.
- Cut out tags, should print 6 tags/sheet.
- When hanging items, the hanger should look like a "?" when you are looking at it. Always attach the tag to the TOP RIGHT of clothing. When using a TAG GUN/SAFETY PIN, the tag MUST GO IN A SEAM, not in the fabric of the garment! You may also put the tag in the seam of the armpit, so it hangs on the right when looking at it. Another option is to hole punch the tag and attach it with ribbon and thread through a buttonhole! Again, to use a TAG GUN/SAFETY PIN, it MUST GO IN A SEAM, not in the fabric of the garment! It creates holes in the item and may cause rejection!
- Attach tags to handbags, belts, jewelry, and other accessories with a hole punched tag and ribbon if appropriate. Try to avoid placing jewelry in Ziploc bags. Items in bags do not sell as well because women love to touch and feel before purchasing!
- Attach tags to shoes by using the most secure method. Options: Use packing tape, a zip tie, and a hole punch. Tape over top of tag to reinforce it, use a hole punch under the marked holes, and run the zip tie through a strap or lace and secure zip tie.
Drop-Off Procedure:
- Before arriving at the sale, please group loose items by category to make drop off SUPER FAST & EASY! Clothing must be in size order. Separate specialty clothing categories from other clothing and place them at the front of your clothing. Seasonal items; Swimwear/snow clothing, holiday items, Easter/Christmas, boutique, school uniforms, pajamas/sleepers, coats/jackets, and dance. The more prepared you are, the less time you will spend at your drop-off appointment.
- At drop-off, pull into a spot to unload your items (we have z-racks to put your clothing in and carts for your loose items), after unloading, please move your vehicle to allow more consignors to drop-off.
- Be sure that you have checked-in with the TKS Helperz
- After moving your vehicle, leave your clothing z-rack to be inspected by TKS Helperz. Take your shoes to the table labeled “shoe inspection,” and sort your other loose items by dropping them in the correct category boxes in each section. All the boxes are all visible in the “loop” as you walk through.
- All infant equipment should be in the infant section (cribs, highchairs, rockers, swings, etc.)
- After your items have been sorted, stop by the “check-out” table to:

- grab a yard sign if you live in a high traffic area to help us advertise the sale. (Please remember to pull it up and discard it after the sale is over.)
REMINDER! Pick-up of unsold items that are NOT tagged as “donate” is the evening of the last sale day. If you do not pick up your items during the designated times, your items will be donated! No exceptions!
